CnLuckyName ("we", "us") operates cnluckyname.com, a paid Chinese-naming and BaZi/Wu Xing report service. This page explains what information we collect, why, and what we do — and don't — keep.

1. Information you provide

When you request a report, you submit: birth date, birth time (optional), gender, and country. We also ask for an email address if you proceed to pay, or if you choose to enter your email on the free preview screen to receive a copy of your (still-locked) preview before paying — that's optional and only happens if you submit that form yourself.

2. What we do not store

    🔒 We never store the raw birth date or birth time you enter — for paid reports or free previews alike. It is used only in memory, for the seconds it takes to compute your BaZi chart and generate your report, and is then discarded.
  

3. What we do store

For paid reports, we keep a record tied to your PayPal order, consisting of: your order ID, the report tier purchased, your email address, the payment amount, the timestamp, and a copy of the finished report itself (names, BaZi chart summary, and written analysis — not your original birth date/time input).

We keep this so that:

if something goes wrong after payment (e.g. your browser closes before the report loads, or you lose the email), we can recover your exact report instead of asking you to pay again; and
we have a record for customer support and payment-dispute purposes, and to prevent a single payment from being reused to generate unlimited reports.

If you use the free preview screen's "email me my previews" form, we keep a record of the email address you gave us, the report tier(s) you were viewing, and the same locked preview fields already shown on the page (e.g. a single hidden character, or an element tag) — not your birth date/time. We use this to send you that one email and, occasionally, follow-up updates about CnLuckyName. You can unsubscribe or ask us to delete this record at any time (see section 7).

We do not use this information for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond the two uses above.

4. Payment information

All payments are processed directly by PayPal. We never see or store your card number, PayPal password, or other payment credentials — PayPal only tells us whether a given order was completed and for how much.

5. Third-party services we use

PayPal — payment processing.
DeepSeek — an AI service we use to write the narrative portions of your report (name meanings, stories, forecasts). It receives the computed astrological data (elements, chart pillars) needed to write that content, not your name, email, or payment details.
Resend — an email delivery service we use to send your report backup to the email address you provide at checkout.

6. Cookies & analytics

We do not currently use cookies, ad trackers, or third-party analytics on this site.

7. Your rights

You can ask us to delete the stored copy of your report and order record at any time by emailing us at zhitongai74@gmail.com with your order ID or the email address used at checkout. We'll confirm once it's deleted.

8. Children's privacy

This service is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

9. Changes to this policy

If we change what we collect or how we use it, we'll update this page and change the "Last updated" date above.
